Resumen
El trabajo que se presenta a continuación es una breve síntesis
del contexto europeo previo a su llegada a América, como así
también de la región andina, centro de grandes culturas preincaicas.
Cuando los españoles llegaron al Perú se encontraron con
una civilización que había absorbido a esas culturas estableciendo
un vasto imperio, el Estado Inca, cuya organización social,
administrativa y política aún admira a arqueólogos e historiadores.
El trato prodigado a los verdaderos dueños de estas tierras,
dio origen a un gran debate entre los religiosos y filósofos
de aquel tiempo, que empujaron a la instauración de nuevas
leyes a este respecto. El choque fue cruento para ellos, ya
que, en él perdieron el eje que regía sus vidas y a veces
la vida misma.
El choque y la “absorción” de una cultura impuesta por hombres
con una fuerte mentalidad religiosa conforman una historia
de sangre y muerte. Pero a pesar de ello, sus monumentos,
su arte y magnificencia perduran, de forma tal que su impronta
aún permanece y nos subyuga.
Abstract
This report presents a brief synthesis of the European context
previous to its arrival to America and also of the Andean
region, focus of great pre-Inca cultures.
When the Spaniards arrived to Peru they met a civilisation
that had absorbed those cultures settling a vast empire, the
Inca State, whose social, administrative and political organization
still admire to archaeologists and historians.
The treat given to the real owners of these lands, produced
a great debate between religious men and philosophers of those
times who propelled the instauration of new laws. The shock
was cruel for them because they lost the axis of their lives
and sometimes the life itself.
The shock and the “absorption” of a culture imposed by men
with a strong religious mentality, make a bloody and mortal
history. But, in spite of it, their monuments, art and magnificence
last, so that its trace still remains and fascinate us.
