EL ESTUDIO DEL PATRIMONIO ARQUEOLÓGICO SUBACUÁTICO CHILENO: UNA PROPUESTA METODOLÓGICA.

RESUMEN:
Pese a que Chile se caracteriza por ser un país con más de 4.000 Km de costa lo que ha influido en que su historia se haya forjado vinculada al mar, no se han dado hasta la fecha las condiciones necesarias para que la recuperación y/o estudio del patrimonio cultural existente bajo sus aguas se haya producido de forma similar a como se ha desarrollado en otros contextos geográficos de igual o menor tradición marítima.

SUMMARY:
In spite of the fact that Chile is characterized to be a country with more than 4.000 Km of coast what has influenced in that its history has been forged linked to the sea, they have not been given the necessary conditions so far so that the recovery and/or study of the existent cultural patrimony under its, has been produced in a similar way to like it has been developed in other geographical contexts of same or smaller marine tradition.
